As part of McCoy Russell LLP’s active engagement in the patent community, attorneys from the firm met with USPTO Director Wayne Stacy, Director of Silicon Valley Regional Office, to provide input from innovators and entrepreneurs in the West Coast region. The topics ranged from remote appeal hearings to design patent practice to the challenges of women and other under-represented inventor groups. This was a great opportunity for all parties in attendance to further improve upon the relationship between those seeking patent protection and the USPTO.
