In October 2020, the Inaugural OHSU Invent-a-thon, developed in partnership with MIT Hacking Medicine and with support from more than 50 academic and industry partners, brought together hundreds of innovators world-wide to identify and tackle big problems in delivering medical care.
Participants and mentors, including our own Janina Malone, come from over 200 cities in 19 countries with varied background experience in areas like Health Care Provider, Writer/Media, Designer, Engineering, and Robotics. Increase in diversity leads to increased innovation and we cannot wait to see the novel solutions these innovators come up with to pitch this spring.
