Congratulations to McCoy Russell client, Centrix Inc. on a recent ruling regarding their free-spin temporary fasteners. According to a ruling handed down on March 25th by His Honour Judge Hacon in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, the Centrix fasteners do not infringe Kwikbolt Ltd.’s patent in the United Kingdom.
In the case of Kwikbolt Ltd v Airbus Operations Ltd., Kwikbolt had sued Airbus Operations Limited, a large user of Centrix temporary fasteners, alleging infringement of their patent. The judge ruled against Kwikbolt and held that Centrix’s temporary fasteners patented design did not infringe.
Centrix provides not just industry-leading high-quality innovative products but is also dedicated to support its customers worldwide, as this case has shown.
