While McCoy Russell LLP’s offices remained closed to the public and continues to operate as a tele-working office, we are happy to be building out our new headquarters in the heart of the Pearl in the former American Chicle Building. Specifically, the firm is working with DIRTT and their building technology to minimize the impact of our Office build-out while allowing us to reuse or repurpose our office furniture in the future.
We want to make the most of our office space, and its natural lighting, to create a collaborative space that enables a collaborative space for in-person interaction, while maintaining flexibility for employees to work from home and reduce commuting. Our paperless office is within walking distance of various transit options, a plethora of unique eateries and boutique businesses, and even grocery stores with locally scoured food and supplies. This enables our staff to walk to get whatever they may need, further reducing our environmental impact.
McCoy Russell has a strong practice in the Green Technology space, including helping our clients protect innovations in areas such as reducing vehicle emissions, improving batteries to enable electrification, improving energy storage in the grid, reducing volatile organic compounds in footwear and apparel, and many more. We want to carry the theme of reducing the environmental impact through to our work. We want to utilize our expertise to not only help our clients develop a strategic IP portfolio, but advance businesses that will make an impact on our environment – we do live in Oregon after all!
