Senior Attorney Janina Malone recently moderated symptom management, breast cancer, and brain cancer sessions in the Answer2Cancer’s virtual event. Each session was about 30 minutes long, some topics had multiple sessions as they are set up to engage with patients. Janina’s background in law and biology helps her understand some of the hurdles that medical development and patients may encounter to help keep the conversation moving. Allowing patients to gain the most from these sessions.
Answer2Cancer is an innovative and patient-centric and patient-facing initiative. Simply, it is a virtual/online patient education summit planned by cancer patients for cancer patients, families and caregivers. And, all clinical content is vetted through oncology specialists and advanced care providers here in Portland.
